PTO Mission
Our mission is to support the administration, teachers, parents and students of the Harmony School of Excellence.
We strive to foster a positive and productive dialogue between the school administration, teachers, parents, and students for the overall betterment of the school and the educational process.

Purpose
The purpose of the organization shall be to aid the students of Harmony School of Excellence by providing support for their educational and recreational needs, and to encourage and enhance the cooperative community spirit among the teaching staff, students and parents.
Goals
1. Provide and seek financial support for areas of need for the administration, teachers and students.
a. Individual Projects - $100 per month
b. School-wide Projects - $100 per month
c. Teacher Appreciation
d. Senior Scholarships (minimum of 2)
e. Solicitation of Corporate & Community Sponsorships
2. Support the learning process and attainment of student success
a. Student appreciation
b. Participate in school Improvement plans
c. Open dialogue to communicate opportunities to school administration for resolution
3. Provide and track active volunteer base for the school/PTO activities
a. Increase Parent Participation by 20%
b. Communicate volunteer opportunities in a timely manner
4. Support and Develop Community Outreach Opportunities
a. Engaging the immediate community in school efforts
b. Be ambassadors for the school in groups, councils and committees that can impact the school
c. Determine volunteer opportunities for the PTO members and students in initiatives that will positively impact the school.
